Classic Lancaster Covered Bridge Portraits

October 25, 2017  •  Leave a Comment

There are several things that Lancaster county is known for, Amish being the biggest, dairy and corn farms, and last but not least classic covered bridges. Lancaster tops the charts for the most covered bridges in any other county with 29!

Whenever possible I love to incorporate these beautiful structures into my photoshoots. On Sunday we explored the pine town covered bridge over the Conestoga river for the McSparren's Family portraits!

There used to be 1,500 covered bridges in Pennsylvania. Over the years they have dwindled down to 197 or so.
