Portraits On The Battlefield
When I first started talking with Paulina about her and Noah's wedding day she mentioned that they would like to do a bride and groom photo shoot instead of engagement pictures and that they wanted to do them at the Gettysburg Battlefield! I was floored! This was going to be a great shoot.
Before the photo shoot, Noah had been away for 7 months for military training. He arrived home the night before our photo shoot date! The time apart and their wedding day only 3 days away was perfect for the pictures. It was a great time for them to just be themselves and spend time with each other after being apart for so long.
Their wedding day was not until Saturday. Our photo shoot was on Wednesday. I drove down to Paulina's house early to pick her up and Noah followed behind us in their car to the battlefield. Up to this point they both have never kissed each other and he still had not seen her in her wedding dress. We drove to the battlefield and our first stop, the Pennsylvania Monument, here Noah got to see her for the first time in her dress!
Here is Noah and Paulina's first look photo shoot. Stay posted for the rest of the portraits from around Gettysburg!
As always my favorite as at the bottom!
More from the rest of the day will be in the next blog post!
Thank you Noah and Paulina for allowing me to capture this special moment!
