Grandparents, words can't describe - Harrisburg, pa Photographer
Words can't even begin to describe my Grandma and Grandpa. They are a pillar of strength, determination, and love. Through life they have had many good times and hard times, and have been through a lot together. The trials only made them stronger and more determined to get through them. They married young and this November is their 65th wedding anniversary! They had each other and they had God guiding them and giving them strength. They raised 4 kids, have 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Grandpa still affectionately calls grandma "Doll" and "Chief" and is the romantic one of the two. Grandpa brings balance and logic to any situation. If it is broken he will find a way to fix it or find a better use for it. Grandma is the glue that holds everything together and is constantly looking out for every one around her and loves to serve and help people. They both have determination and drive that keeps them going and laughing along the way.
Neither one of the two can sit still for very long. They love people and they love to travel. They have visited every state in the US more then once and at any time one of the two can tell a funny story from their adventures together and have the whole room laughing at the tales! They both remember details down to the T - sometimes they remember them differently which makes for some fun discussions. Mention any of the major parks and they will give you the best directions on how to get there and what you should see while you are visiting.
Grandpa is one of the few people who can call you "kid" as a term of endearment. Grandma is one of the few people who can give one look to Grandpa, my Dad, or any of the Grandchildren and put them in their place! They are some of the few people I know who will drop everything at a moments notice and come to your aid no matter what.
I love you Grandma and Grandpa and I want to be just like you both when I am your age! Here's to the next 65 years! ;)
