Father Daughter First Look
The father daughter first looks are always one of my favorite time in photographing the wedding day. The contrasting emotions of excitement, anticipation, and reflective memories of childhood times spent growing up and learning from each other.
The father daughter looks are even more exciting for me when they are members of my family. Kim is the baby girl of the family and most people wouldn't describe my dad as an emotional guy. But when it has come to his little girls getting married, his emotions are high and he always cries.
The tears started at the breakfast table as mom has made us all breakfast and we started talking about the day. Later Kim in her wedding dress took his breath away and brought back the tears he thought he had already cried.
Just 2 weeks before we weren't even sure dad would be home for Christmas let alone walking Kim down the isle to give her hand to Darin in marriage. Gods faithful and loving protection gave us each a reality check of the things closest to us that we take for granted.
